Make your own background with tie dye

As for my first blog, I decided to make my own tie-dyed backdrop! I looked up some Google websites and Youtube videos to learn how to tie-dye. As for the first time trying this, it was a mess but I had a fun time.

Procion Mx dyes of Jet Black, Warm Black, and Pearl Grey. Soda Ash dye fixer.

After soaking my white backdrop into dissolved Soda Ash Dye Fixer for 20-30 minutes, I just crumple the sheet and put few rubber bands to keep it tight.

It turned out my mix was a bit diluted with the chemistry. I should've put more Procion Mx dye into the water.

This is how it turned out. The result came out lighter than I have anticipated. I should've gotten stronger dye or stronger concentration.
